Before I read the source, I pointed out a multiple skill that is necessary to have for a successful career. Growth mindset, creativity, professional, well organized and be able to identify a problem, find the alternate solution and solve it. I believe no matter how successful or how experienced you are, it’s important to have the growth mindset in you. And every day you should be learning new things to improve your ability. Companies will always appreciate employees with creativity and profession because all of the greatest ideas in history come from innovation and its always a pleasure to work with someone who knows how to be professional. Another important attribute you must have is know how to manage your time and career well in order to be efficient. After I read the document. One thing that caught my attention is Global intercultural fluency. As society makes International traveling more easier and chipper. These days we find more people come from all kinds of cultural backgrounds here in America. It’s important to know how to interact with them respectfully. However, all of the factors that I listed on the web will help us to be “career ready.” For instance, “career management” is an important one. Set up your goal in college and carefully plan how to get there. Most people do that in the first place, but as time goes by they just lose in track or abandon their plan. It’s necessary to keep and eventually you will get there.

Pretty good post on what Career Readiness means, Terrry. How will this awareness shape your approach to your college career in terms of course selection, skill building, experiences to have…?
