- What have you learned about how to read a complex piece of writing this year? Which of the active and critical reading techniques have become part of your standard approach to coming to terms with texts?
Out of all of the techniques, you taught us, the most essential one that becomes my hobbit when it comes to carefully read an article is Annotating. I found it extremely helpful in terms of understanding the complex material.
- What challenges did you face in the course? What did you learn from facing them?
There are many questions that I faced throw the semester. Writing in a foreign language is not easy. The one thing I found extremely disturbing is my dedication. Writing or reading struggles never troubled me the most because I know Mr.Drown will always be there to help me. However, There were times that I lost patient and interest when it comes to reading and writing. The way to overcome my struggle is to keep forcing myself to work and finding the pleasure part out of it.
- Describe one or two of your most rewarding moments of success in the course? What did you learn from them?
When finished my big paper that was due before spring break. I never thought i could wrote that much words in english.
- What will you take away from the course to use in the writing situations you will face in the remaining years of your college education?
Be patient , writing and reading techniques, slow down when i read, take careful notes, how to summarize other people’s work, counter move, come to term, annotation, and learning cycle which frequently use.
